Only three weeks away from Automechanika Birmingham, fans of iconic racing cars and classic cars are encouraged to book free tickets to catch a glimpse of the three-day event.
Offering mechanics and car enthusiasts a one-stop-shop for the latest tools, technology and innovation, Automechanika Birmingham returns to NEC Birmingham from June 6-8.
NAPA Racing UK British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) driver Dan Rowbottom and former champion Ash Sutton will take part in the show on June 7-8. They will be at the Alliance Automotive UK booth where visitors and fans can meet, chat and take pictures with the drivers.
BTCC star Jake Hill will showcase his Laser Tools Racing car alongside an MB Motorsport BMW 330e M Sport at the Laser Tools booth on June 6th – the car in which he finished third in the three-race winning race of the 2022 Evolution season.
Leading automotive brand Arnold Clark Autoparts will showcase during the event the legendary Vampire Trailer, the British land speed record holder infamous for being smashed by Richard Hammond on the BBC’s Top Gear in 2006. Autodata will be showcasing a 2023 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 car courtesy of team sponsor Solera.
To showcase the history of the aftermarket industry, the iconic Ford Model T Snap-on will be on display, complete with replica tool storage boxes that its representatives would have used in the 1920s.
In addition, a 1993 Honda Rover 216 convertible driven by Louise Baker and Rachel Murray’s Bangers 4 Ben team will be auctioned off at Automechanika Birmingham’s charity auction. The car returned home to the Midlands for an auction to raise more money for charities supporting auto workers.
