The main differences between CA spherical roller bearings and MB spherical roller bearings are structure, performance and application.
CA type spherical roller bearings use an integral brass cage, no intermediate flange on the inner ring, two small flanges on the end faces, and symmetrical rollers. This design makes the bearings less noisy when running at high speeds and has a certain self-lubricating function. However, since the rollers take up less space, the outer dimensions and number of the rollers are limited, thus affecting their load-bearing capacity.
MB spherical roller bearings use two precision-machined brass cages, fixed center edges on the inner ring, and reinforced symmetrical rollers. This design allows the bearing’s load capacity to reach the CA design level, and it can have a longer life in applications that replace traditional products.
In terms of applications, CA spherical roller bearings are suitable for mining, steel mills, petroleum, textiles, fans and other fields, while MB spherical roller bearings are suitable for occasions that require higher load capacity. For example, in mining machinery, MB bearings can be used in equipment such as impact crushers, jaw crushers, and hammer crushers; in the fields of metallurgy and rolling mills, MB bearings can also provide higher load capacity.
